The “BEE TOGETHER” Social Footprint at the Aegean Omiros College Crete IBT International Basketball Tournament
The “Aegean Omiros College Crete IBT” International Basketball Tournament returns for the 5th consecutive year to Heraklion, Crete, from September 19 to 21, hosting some of Europe’s top teams, specifically Olympiacos, the European champions Fenerbahçe, Armani Milano, and Crvena Zvezda, in a unique three-day sports event.
Environmental Action “BEE TOGETHER” – Basketball with a social and ecological purpose.
As part of the tournament’s social responsibility, the environmental action “BEE TOGETHER” will take place on Saturday, September 20 (10:00 a.m.), in collaboration with the valuable support of the Heraklion Beekeepers Cooperative – CSR Partner.
During the event, activities will be held with the presence of great athletes from the four teams, alongside children from Heraklion’s basketball academies. The goal of the action is to highlight environmental awareness, the need to protect bees, and to support local producers and their relationship with society and sports.
